Hazy gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation on the back end. Smooth malts, mildly sweet and with a little thin cream. Cooling pine hops, hop spice and a touch of dry citric pith. Mellow tropical fruits before a light semi dry finish. Piney spicy linger. Very nice.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy golden to light amber color, small head. Resiny hops aroma and creamy malts, some cereals, bread. Moderate sweetness, chewy malts, a lot of tooffee; the hop is old, the bitterness is strong, orangey and piney resins abound, but the freshness is lost; the alcohol is not disturbing, but it’s evident.
Good beer, old bottle probably.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a cloudy white head. Aroma is malty, with spicy resinous hops and earthy caramel malts. Flavour is on the spicy side, with spicy resinous hops, earthy notes and sweet caramel malts. Maybe a little old, with a big malty backbone that shines. Not terribly complex or well-balanced, but solid enough.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orangish amber with an egg shell white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dank pine with bitter grapefruit and a good amount of resin. Flavor has bitter pine with resin, grads and some sweet grains backing.
