29/4/2022. On the Harwich Ale Trail. Cask at the Stingray, Harwich. Pours clear dark amber/bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of sulphur, nut, caramel, malt. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a light sour edge. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Looked good, but wasn't great.

Cask at Sun, Stafford Pours classic bitter brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Some hops in the nose. Taste is bitter with biscuits and malts, and a hint of smokiness. Textyure is thin and watery. And finish is basically nothing. It’s OK I guess. More of a bitter than a brown ale by the way.
