Cask at Tanners Hall JDW, Darlington. Golden amber colour, white head and malty aroma. Taste is malt, light hops, some biscuit, with an earthy fruity bitterness. Watery, light bodied, low carbonation and dry finish. OK.

Cask at the Lawrence Sheriff, Rugby, 17/04/13. Clear golden amber with a very thin off white head that dissipates to filmage. Nose carries pale malts, light grass, some fruit - very thin and offering little about the beer. Taste comprises light caramel, malt, touch of sugar, light soap and a vague suggestion of hops! Medium bodied, moderate carbonation but perhaps a little on the flat side. Overall balnd and sub par - probably the least interesting beer of this festival.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Almost clear gold beer, little off white head. Palate is light and dry with fine carbonation. A little sweet citrus that turns bitter. Minerals and a floral touch. Mild sulphur note but that was mostly agitated away. Dry finish. Okay.

Cask at The Punch Bowl in York. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Light floral aroma. Med body. Flavor is floral, very lightly spicy, and arguably citrus. Finishes smooth and not too bitter. Tasty.
