AROMA: Mildly sweet with moderate scents of coriander and orange, followed by hints of lemon. Note: As the beer warms the coriander really starts to take over, and not in a bad way.
APPEARANCE: Pours a very cloudy, light-straw (think weak lemonade) with a coarsely frothy, 3-finger, white head that dissipates somewhat slowly with moderate lacing.
TASTE: Lightly sweet with mild flavors of coriander and orange peel, which is then followed by a slight sourness and flavor of lemon. Oddly enough, as the beer warms, the sour lemon flavor changes to sweet lemon. Weird!
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a slightly rough texture. The finish is mildly dry and the carbonation is fairly lively (i.e. above average).
OVERALL: I know this is a classic beer (and I can't believe I haven't rated it until now), but I'm not overly impressed by it. Don't get me wrong, it's a nicely crafted beer. I just find the flavor to be a bit too muted for my taste, even after letting the beer warm up a bit (which you'll want to do). Still, I could happily drink several of these in a row, and never complain. And with such a low ABV, that is easily done.

Light straw colored beer with medium head. In aroma there are bananas, cloves and herbs. Slightly acidic but mostly sweet. Not too much though, it's well balanced. Light body, refreshing.

I was served 50 cl in a brand appropriate glass, I always like that, at Gate in the Karlin area of Prague. The view was an indistinct, gold-yellow body. And the drink was all right. Spices certainly, grain, white bread, orange zest and a bit of lemon. Decent beer, not exactly doing it for me.

Bottle from Josh, thanks for the hookup. Surprised I haven't rated this before. Lightly hazy deep straw color with a fuzzy white head that persists. Spicy cereal earthy with a hint of lemon and a sharp carbonic bite. Solid drinker.

14th October 2023 Fuck my old boot! How have I not rated this? Drank gallons of the stuff back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Anyway, a mildly hazy deep straw colour beer with a decent off white head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light wheaty malts, sweet enough. Some very mild esters rising in the mid. Marvellous soft floral orange and a little ripe lemon comes through on the back end along with mellow but fruity coriander. Comes together into a smooth finish. A bona fide classic. I really don't give a crap if this is a mass produced macro beer. It was great 20+ years ago when it was on tap everywhere in London and it's great in a bottle now. Could absolutely session this as I have done so many times in the past.
