a very dark brown with a small head of foam that dissipates quickly leaving just a wee bit of a layer.

The smell is a very fruity sweet..must be the coriander.

The taste has good sweet malt flavour up front with a solid spice background and... some plum notes. Pretty darned complex but the overall flavour seems to be just shy of greatness for me.

Bottom line: I'm glad I tried this ale but it's just not my cup of tea.

Bottled. Poured dark with a super thin head. Flavor was fruity and caramel, some raisins. Some malts, prety light for what it is. Worth forking over 8 bucks at the ol’ supermarket.

Mørk brun farge med lyst beige skum. Lukter fat, røstet malt, svisker og noe urter. Mild søt avslutning.

Bottle. Deep brownish-amber with little head. Aroma was sweet, fruit cake. Taste was dried fruit, heavy tasty. Pretty good actually.

Dark brown pour with a frothy off white head. Big bready malt aroma. Sweet bread, brown sugar, and dark ripe fruit. Impressive flavor of sweet ripe dark fruits. Figs, apples, bready brown sugar and some light yeast, even some pudding. Incredibly satusfying, excellent beer.

Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma promises spice, toasted grains, dark chocolate, butterscotch. Taste is herbal bitter and full of coriander. A pleasant enough taste, but feels fairly simple in the end, without nuance. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Ok.

Аромат жженого карамеля а также средней копчености. Также немного чувствуются сладость неких ягод. Цвет темно-коричневый, пена полностью отсутствует. Вкус водянистый но приятный, хорошо ощущается сладкая карамель типо леденца на палочке. Также имеется совсем легкая копченость и дымчатость. Пиво очень хорошо греет горло при глотке. Послевкусие плавное но не терпкое. Также сладость, легкая жженка солода и немного ягодной кислинки.

Color marrón rojizo muy oscuro, corona de espuma beige claro cremosa de media retención. En nariz se percibe malta tostada, caramelo, bizcocho, toffee, con ciruelas pasas como principal fruta frutos secos...En boca es cálida, elegante, compleja, dulce de entrada con tonos de fruta pasificada, nueces, avellanas, caramelo, bizcocho, final agradablemente amargo con cierto toque herbal donde se percibe claramente el cilantro... profunda y licorosa. Una delicia
