Castle Eden Ale is a light, creamy golden ale with a late addition of Styrian Goldings hops giving it an interesting contrast between an initial sweet surge of flavour followed by a slightly bitter aftertaste. See: Golden Smell: Honey, Molasses Taste: Sweet, Rich Hops: Target, Stryian Goldings Malt: Pale Ale Note: Brewed at Cameron's and then at Seaham again at some point.

Cask at the Boat Inn, Stoke Breune, Northants. Poured amber colour, aroma had a slight yeastiness to it and flavour whilst fine was a tad tired and had been on a day or two too long, very standard type of bitter that I hadnโ€™t had since itโ€™s Whitbread days so whilst nice to see it still around will have to look out for it in better nick next time.
