Cask, shared with Finn at Beer Rebellion Peckham Rye. Lacing at the upper level of the glass. Tiny head. Amber-gold body, next to clear. Malt-fruity nose. Mixed taste of caramel sweetness and gooseberry leading to a resinous bitter ending. Pretty good (Greater London, 28.11.2015).

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A slightly hazy amber pour with a billowing white head; some tropical fruit on the aroma; rather flabby in the mouth, with a soft limey citrus taste, followed by some sharp resinous bitterness; and a cream soda finish. Not a great IPA.

Cask at the Golden Smog, Stockton-on-Tees. Clear orange amber colour, foam white head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hoppy. Flavour is malt caramel with sweetish fruity mango, hop resins, orange & grapefruit bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, fruity dry bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average, firm, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Classic English hop aroma, notes of gooseberry, pale berries in general, biscuity caramel malty background. Taste is slightly dry hoppy, hints of gooseberry, minimally sweet malty background; bitter, minimally mineral finish.
