Our double hopped IPA is pretty damn good. Columbus, Cascade and Cluster hops pack this with a real punch of flavour.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Josh for bringing this one. Very hazy gold amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth, slightly soft and semi dry. Smooth malt, very slight sweet. Bitterish orange peel and marmalade hops. Finishes dry with a.peel bitter linger. Not bad.

Cask at the Lamb, Chiswick, 15/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is toasted malt, orange, mineral notes, earthy, caramel, light tropcials. Taste comprises orange pith, mineral bite, residual sugars, light tropicals, bread dough, toasted malts, caramel biscuit crumble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy bitterness and sweet shades in the finale. Decent cask affair, I’d have guessed more towards an APA style wise not having been aware when I rated it !

Bottle from Mr Lawrence. It pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. The nose is earthy, wood, toast and sweet citrus. The taste is earthy, toast, pine, grass, stewed orange, good deal of bitterness and dough with a dry finish. Smooth and rather drinkable. Pretty nice.

Cask handpull at Exmouth arms Farringdon. Clear gold thin white head. Very hoppy and decent for a UK ipa. Bit sweet. Decent though and it disappeared pretty quickly which is a good sign. Hoppy. Grapefruit pink variety.

Cask at Wandsworth London Beer Festival on 6 July 2013. Poured a slightly hazy light orange with a thin off white head. Aroma of ripe fruits with grassy hops. Citrus fruit and orange peal mixed with resiny bitterness, fantastic lingering grapefruit. Perfectly balanced.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 26 Apr 2013) Amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, orange and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, orange, resin and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Plenty of malt to back it up. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Nice and tasty.

Cask at the Union Tavern, London. Pours orange-gold with a fine, white foam head. Some orange and dry pine in here, light sweetness, kind of gritty. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dirty to finish, earth and pine, mild toasty malts. It’s decent, but could use some tweaking.
