As the name suggests a SixºNorth beer for all occasions! Especially when you’ve got a rich thirst on!
Clean aromas of rich lime, lemon and walnut move to a super fresh palate of juicy fruit, lime pastille and floral hints.
A belter of a beer in a balanced and refreshing style originally made for the farm workers in the summer heat.
Saison and a light Thai curry…done!

330ml bottle. Clear yellow gold colour, foam white head and fruity aroma with grain, candy, yeast. Taste is bready & fruity with pineapple, citrus rind, plus some grain, grassiness, light spice and bitterness. Sharp mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, zesty & yeasty dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cloudy blonde. Smells kind of like a fruit salad - pears, banana, melon, apple. Light yeast (weihen hefe?) and pale malts first, then fuller bodied but blandish doughy pale malts and yeasty hops.

33cl Bottle. Appearance - light olden lemon with a decent head. Nose - tangy slightly farmhouse. If there’s any fruit it’s probably somewhere between lemon and pineapple. Taste - definitely a herby pineapple on the taste. Palate - medium bodied with some sweet and soir going on through the middle section and a dry tangy finish. Overall - a solid representation of a Saison. Would’ve liked deeper pineapple flavours and the expected spiciness was missing. Enjoyable though.

Bottle from Tomlinsons, care of Mr Bois. It pours clear pale gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, doughy, candied peel, satsuma and boiled sweets. The taste is dough, toast, spice, lime rind, satsuma, sherbet, light bitterness and straw with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite a delicate beer. Soft and quaffable.

Bottle at home in London - many thanks to the Colinator for grabbing ,e this brew during his northern adventure, pours hazy, yellow-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Lots of doughy pale malts in the nose, yeast, slight cereal grains. Light to medium sweet flavor with further yeasty pale dough, some white bread, grains, hay. Light bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with further doughy pale malts, hay, grains, yeast, very mellow citrus rind. Quite tasty and drinkable.

From the keg menu at Hanging Bat, one-third pint, beer flight choice. Unclear pale golden body. Low, but stable head lacing the upper level of the glass. Sweet spiced fruity nose. Lemony hops to the taste buds alongside notes of wheat and ripe fruits, lightly spiced. Lemony bittersweet tail. Approved (Edinburgh 10.08.2013).

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas are really good - peppery spice, Belgian yeast, lemon. More lemon on the taste, and quite a dry finish. Carbonation a bit low, but overall a very nice beer.
