Fruchtig süßer Antrunk, eher Saft als Perry. Dennoch deutlich angenehmer als der Cider, trockener, runder, spritzig. Die Süße bleibt konstant, im Hintergrund aber trockener. Spritzig, nett. 7/9/8/9/7/9

500ml bottle as Tesco Simply Pear Cider, drunk at Ellesmere Mere. Pours light greenish yellow, clear. Aroma is light perry pears. Taste is light, clean and refreshing, sweet but not too much. Fine sunny day Perry.

Bottle from Tesco and drunk at home. Pale gold clear not many bubbles at all. Some pear on the aroma. Sweetish pear juice in the mouth. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. Just too sweet. OK for the mass audience, no good if you like perry though. Not sure I’ll finish the bottle. Not that it’s horrible, it’s just too sweet.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour with not too much head. Aroma is pear, sugar, some citrus and some mild vinegary notes. Flavour is pear, some green apples and mild sugary notes to it. Also some vinegar toward the finish.

Bottle, clear pale yellow colour qith just a green tinge, lively sparkling, aroma of pear and some vinegar and a mineraly hint, flavour of pear and vinegar with a pleasant fruitiness, no bitterness, very little sourness and quite sweet. Drinkable but much too sweet and simple.

500ml bottle as Oakleys Pear Cider. Clear very pale yellow colour, foamy white head and aroma of pears,woody, touch of sulphur. Taste is sweetish pear, pear skins and hint of apple. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, lingering sweetness and dryish finish. OK.

Clouded cider with a pale light green appearance. Has a full English orchard aroma and a slight soured apple taste.

Tasting at Papsø’s
The color is very pale, almost transparent. Aroma of plastic, and some hazelnuts. Sweet flavor, with very light pear juice flavor. Acidity is low as well. Almost a soda pop.

Bottle sample at a Westons tasting at Porter & Sons. Thanks Norman Premium. White wine color. Slightly funky aroma with green apples, pears and a bit of oak. Sweetish flavor of pears and oak.

75 cl Bottle. Pale yellow colour. Moderate perry aroma and flavor. Only light sweet. Average finish. Oily palate. Deasent perry.
