Cask at Baxter’s Court, JDW - Hackney, London. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. It’s sweet, with some sponge cake, doughy white bread, and faint tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more doughy white bread, faint lemon, cake. Simple and easy.

Hand-pulled pint in The Red Lion, Skegness (Wetherspoon) on 24th Oct 2013. Poured a clear (well almost clear) golden colour with a good, full white crown. The nose and taste were floral and semi-citrus in nature with a dry finish. Not a lot going on really, refreshing enough, but lacked oomph and deep flavours. A lawnmower beer.

Cask at JDW, White Lady, Edinburgh. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Tart lemon aromas, some cereal/wheat and yeast. Taste has a good balance of bitter and sweet. More lemon coming through towards the end. Glad I went for a pint, after not being that impressed from the initial sample. *ahem*.

Cask at Wetherspoons, Finchley Rd, London. Zesty fruitiness, bready, an intriguing texture with a meringue / fruit tart quality. An ideal desert beer perhaps?
