Bottle at ZBF, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium: Impressive blond from this high-alcohol brews. Hazy golden colour with a fruity/spicy taste and ofcourse the hints of champagne.

Blonde, big foamy head. Malt, citrus and poire Wiliams in the aroma. Alcohol, malt and a hint of citrus in the flavor. Pretty well balanced, in spite of the huge alcohol character.

Bottle shared @ Elie's place. Many thanks! Hazy amber colour, creamy white foam. Sweet malty, light caramel notes, some notes of peach. Good.

5th September 2016
Almost clear gold beer, massive white head, huge! Palate is light, semi dry and mildly crisp. Thin sweetish malts. Sweetish floralness. Mild and sweet generic fruits. Little yeast on the finish. Pretty disappointing. The Essex champagne ales of the last couple of years have been much better, Red Fox, Brentwood, Farmers Ales and Mersea Island have all done better than this somewhat insipid and sweet affair.

Bottle at Brugge beer festival 2016, Brugge, Belgium. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Fruity, yeasty, spice aroma. Tastes the same, fruity, yeasty, spice, slightly sour. Again not my kind of beer but clearly well made.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Deanso. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin frothy white head. The flavour is moderate sweet with a toffee caramel, yeast, aspirin palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.
