Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is hoppy with strong herbal tea, malt, touch of licorice, more herbal notes, black tea, only a mild touch of fruits. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a harsh unbalanced bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Certainly likeable, I dig me a proper herbal tea IPA, but the harsh unbalanced bitterness leaves something to be desired. Still, enjoyable enough.

Bottle. Pale amber color, malt, yeast, white pepper and pear in the aroma. Malty yet dry flavor. Hint of dried fruit. Yeasty finish. Drinkable.

Bottle [from trade with RW80, thanks!] @ home. Hazy dark orange to amber color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, quite buttery, diacetyl, cooked vegetables. Really not good. Taste malts, again butter, diacetyl, cabbage, cooked vegetables, light to moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Unfortunately there’s only one possible conclusion, sorry Bax-guys, but this is really really bad.

Bottle shared with kermis and Deanso and later another one at home. Hazy amber with cream colored head that leaves a dirty film, looks decent enough. Lots of sweet malts and some caramel up front. Apricot, plums, red berries, bubblegum, some bitter vegetables. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Over medium malty body. I like the 1.5 IPA moniker here, it really fits. Though it’s a bit harsh unfortunately.
