Pours a clear amber with a thick creamy off white head. Citrus aroma with a malty background. A nice hoppy bitterness; some malt and toffee with a mild sweet finish. Very drinkable ale.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - deep amber to red. Nice head. Nose - tea and pine going on. Even wood spices. Sweet malt backdrop. Taste - more of the same. Even Earl Grey. Nice biscuit backbone. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - this one struck a chord on my palate

Cask at William Stead JDW Darlington. Reddish amber colour, tan foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt caramel, toffee, citrus. Taste is similar, malt caramel, toffee, zesty citrus, fruity, with some herby bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy finish. Quite drinkable.
