Clear very dark brown, fizzy head, gone in a second. Roasted malt, caramel and coffee aroma. Sourish, roasted flavour, late hints of smoke. Dry. Not good.

Bottle. Black body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of porridge, coffee and smoke. Flavour of coffee, roasted malt, ash and chocolate. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. A tasty, ashy Stout.

Bottle from Cocktail’s, Littleborough as TSA Wild Oat Stout. Black with no head. It’s not quite full, but its roasted malt is more than evident in both aroma and taste.

Cask at the white lady. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of coffee, coca cola. Taste is more coffee. Thin texture, bitter chocolate on the finish.
