Hand-pulled half-pint on 27th July 2021; The crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire. It's an apple cider with rhubarb juice added.

500ml bottle from brewery. Look - slight hazy pale gold. Quite a bit of encrusted sediment left in bottle. Nose - light raspberry, apple peel, touch of barnyard. Taste - raspberry, light sour rhubarb, apple juice and peel, tangy sweet finish. Palate - light to medium body, moderate carbonation, a touch sour. Overall - Decent flavoured cider - its nice that I could actually taste the apples.

21/1/2020. Can from Towcester Mill Brewery Shop. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with an orange tint and a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apples and highly sugared stewed rhubarb, topped with crumble and vanilla custard. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Sweetness did settle a bit allowing more rhubarb tart to develop which improved it no end and it became quite drinkable.

Can @Mad for Beer (Rome). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca leggera. Al naso note di mela matura dolce, rabarbaro, bubblegum. In bocca è dolce, con chiusura un filo amara e acidula. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Un bel pastrocchio, ma si beve.

Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - cloudy lucozade colour. Something yeasty at the bottom. Nose - dry apple skin and woody. Taste - sweeter than nose. Pressed apple. Some red fruit. Could be rhubarb. Palate - light to medium bodied and tangy. Overall - decent.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours murky yellow with some lumps, no head. Aromas of sour apples, faint rhubarb. Taste is sweet, rhubarb and more apple. Fine.

Danke an mihnhutmat. Fruchtig apfeliger Beginn mit deutlich erkennbarem Rhabarber. Süffiger, etwas zu süßer Mittelteil, viel Apfel, konstant bleibend. Süß-säuerlicher Abgang. 8/9/9/8/7/9

330ml bottle from Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool. Pours misty yellow, nice rhubarb nose. Taste presents a nice gentle rhubarb character with an equal balance of fleshy medium sweet apple fruit. A touch sharp, but generally quite clean & refreshing. Not bad.
