Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. The pump clip claims there are no artificial sweeteners in this cider and with good reason - the apple tastes so sweet it does give this impression. Its nose is worse in this respect with a very synthetic aroma.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 15/12/13. Clear light golden with a moderate white covering that veers edgeward. Nose is sharp apple, light apple vinegar, tarte edge. Taste comprises more mellow apple, orchard tang, apple sauce, light sweet tones. Medium bodied, limited carbonation, dry closure. Tasty enough cider.

Polycask 6.5%, at The Bay Horse, Bromyard, Herefordshire Saturday 8th September 2012 Pours cloudy orange, good tanginess, good cider, nice dryness, not too dry. Very moreish, nice still good appley cider with a little woodiness. Whilst the medium was good, this was more to my taste. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
