Cask at Cobblestones, Bridgwater. Pours light hazed deep golden with a white cap. Aroma: biscuit malts, orange, lemon, spicy hop. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, semi-dry, citrus, grass spicy hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Decent.

Bottle online from The Cheddar Brewery. Pours a slightly hazy light amber colour with a medium sized thick foamy lasting white head. Aroma is citrusy with floral and a little spice. Taste is again citrusy with notes of grapefruit and lemon pith, some more floral and peppery spice and also a touch herbal. Lots of fresh hop bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body, fairly low carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. A bit too much citrus bitterness on the finish for my personal preference but still a decent beer.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden with a big white snow white head. Nose - grapefruit and pith. Light biscuit. Taste - citrus again, grapefruit and lemon. Just an edge of toffee at the back. Palate - light bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - quite nice. More of a golden ale.

A half in the White Hart garden in Cheddar with the family having just completed the circular route of the gorge. You can’t get much more terroir than that! A good golden ale with a wheat bite that cut through the thirst from all the exercise. Drunk with fish and chips and it slipped down a treat.

500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Amber gold colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of caramel & citrusy hop. Taste is biscuity malt, grainy with citrus hop and herby earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy earthy bitter finish. OK.

Cask-conditioned on gravity, the Lansdown, Bristol 12/9/2015 under its new name of ’Hardrock Pale Ale’. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Citrus fruits, light, slightly grainy, malts, floral hops and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.
