Big offwhite head. Light amber body. Deep sweet peach aroma with a kind of artificial candy character. Deep sweet-and-dry peachy fruit taste. Quite chalky, sharpish mouthfeel. Aftertaste is the same, and somewhat metallic. A bit too artificial and one-dimensionally peachy for my tastes. (0.5l bottle from Sainsbury’s.)

Bottle. Clear light to medium amber yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy, peach, melon, fruit / berry / flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (081007)

bottle. Deep golden colour, medium-sized head. Aroma of ice-tea and peach. I expected a sweet beer, which it definitely is not. Very hoppy indeed, but the pleasant hoppy flavour is over-shadowed by peach flavours, which seem quite artificial. Nearly no malt detectable, which makes the beer rather thin.

Golden coloured with a lacy white head. Aroma was of fruits like peaches, apricots and melon. The flavour was of peach and not much else, although this wasn’t overpowering like the ginger in Blandford Fly. Alright as a summer drink.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, smaller foamy head; strong fruity nose - peaches and maracuja - with a very small hoppiness; bitter-sweet flavour; melons in the fruity, sweetish-bitter finish. A very unusual Ale, but refreshing...........

Ruby cloloured . very hoppy nose, a full bitter hop, with lots of floral notes in the flavour. Tk 2 Bottle at home ... amber coloured ... floral hop peachy nose ... fruity front lots of bitterness ... fruity dry bitter linger. I used to really like this but would find it hard going 3.5->3.1

This is my all time favourite summer ale - but it’s great at other times of the year too. A bright deep golden colour with a creamy cream head which lasts to the end; the aroma and flavour are dominated by peach, but the malt and hops do make an appearance. Crisp and refreshing, proof that fruit and beer is a winning combination.

Bottled. Deep golden, well-carbonated, and with a nice, off-white head. The aroma is peach-dominated, with hops and malt in the background. Lightly peachy flavor, where the maltiness is more pronounced than in the aroma. There are hops too, but they are easier found in the finish. Quite sweetish and thin-bodied. Works probably best served chilled as a thirst-quencher. The peach aroma first reminded me of a commercial peach-lambic, but there are no similarities other than that, and maybe the sweetness. 500ml Bottle from Tesco. This seems to be one of those beers that sharply divides opinion reading through some of the other reviews. I am on the positive side, but I accept that the incredible peachy aroma can be a little bit too much for some, I think that its great, the peach carried on through into the beer and this was the only downside in that the taste whilst I enjoyed it never quite lived up to that magnificent aroma. Looking forward to trying this on cask at some point. My girlfriend really likes this and like someone else had mentioned more beers that are gonna’ appeal to the fairer sex can only be a good thing.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful amber coloured beer with a rather small head. Extremely fruity, fresh aroma, and the peach extracts linger all the way through the finish. At first sip I miss some sweetness, having difficulties grasping the concept of fruit and bitterness. But later on the lacking sweetness appears as a strength as it refrains the beer to cloy up.
