An all English barley wine – rich plum and fruit flavours, treacley caramel warmth and masses of hop flavour from Challenger, East Kent Goldings and Bramling Cross. The beer is one to sip and savour, or lay down to mature further, maybe saved for a future celebration or a present.

330ml bottle from Crafty Pint, Darlington. Dark amber brown colour, beige foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of malt, molasses, raisins, fruity. Taste is malty, sweet, molasses, dried fruits, raisins, fig, caramel, woody, vanilla, earthy bitter. Full bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry boozy finish. Nicely sippable.
