Our Whitby Whaler is a fruity bitter with a malty, citrus flavour and a not too intense bitter finish. The combination of both East Kent and Styrian Golding hops give Whitby Whaler a pleasantly fruity full flavour. This beer should be quaffed heartily.

Medium creamy offwhite head. Clear amber body. Grainy caramelly strawy aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet dusty fruity taste with musty earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish floral fruity aftertaste with blackcurrant notes. Nice, drinkable, ordinary. Fairly sweet. (0.568l cask at The Shambles, Whitby.)
