Really quite decent. Three years did this some good. Slight Rodenbach finish. Orange pour with champagny head and lacing.g Sour tart finish. A little bit of raisin or sour plum. Nice package. Thanks to Sammy.

Head: beige, medium, sparkling, zero retention. Colour: amber, clear.

Aroma: wild yeast/old cheese-like sharpness, some uber-sweet dried fruit like fig, vinous and some alcohol too. Taste: quite sweet, sweet dried fruit, some alcoholic/phenolic spiciness, but no actual ethanol detected. Still you can feel its warming effect.

Whether it’s a belgian style or not - I don’t know, but certainly has that alcoholic phenolic character. In the end, it’s a quite sweet, desert beer. Cool looking for special occasions.

Clear amber beer, good white head, short lived. Light fruit salad nose. Light frothy palate, carbonated nibble. Creamy malt, fruit salad sweets and a trace of sherbet. The finish is more creamy malt with a trace of tangy citrus.

Bottle shared at Weihenstephaner, Freising - 27/11/11. Served by waiter from a champagne bucket into fluted glass. Hazy golden amber with a bubbly white head. Sweet malts and citrus on the nose. Citrus, honey and yeast in the taste, champagne like feel of lively carbonation. Alcohol is well disguised, sweet dry finish.
