A very well balanced cyder with a touch of sweetness and mouth watering refreshment. A beautiful lingering finish with hints of oak and tropical fruit.

75cl bottle from St Austell brewery shop, shared with Soph in Cornwall. Clear pale golden yellow. Buttery, vanillery sweet apple fragrance, continuing to taste with a vanillery rum barrel influence. Oily palate, fairly sweet, clean with a cheap £2.50 white wine feel that creeps in.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to scopey. Pours clear, pale yellow with a few bubbles on top. The nose holds ripening apples, golden delicious especially. Medium sweet flavour with low bitterness, simple sugars, more golden delicious, mild musty notes. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with soft carbonation. Sweet finish, some apple sauce. Fun stuff.

Bottle shared at L6. It pours clear pale yellow with a tiny bubbly cap. The aroma is soft, sweet, apple pie, icing sugar, pastry, honey and vanilla. The taste is soft, sweet, mellow apple, apple pie, pear, vanilla, honey, wood, icing sugar, hint of tannin with a soft, sweet finish. Medium body and a hint of carbonation. A bit sweeter than I like my ciders to be honest. It’s ok.
