Bottle (2016) @ Drugie DNO, Warsaw May 2018. Dark brown, almost black body with a moderate sized tan head. Nice aroma of dark malt, cocoa, coffee, dry fruit and raspberries. Flavor is quite sweet with dar, roasted , malt, coffee, chocolate, dry fruit and hint of raspberries. Alcohol is well hidden. Fine body and long lasting finish. Delicious.

Loads of roast, sweet cherry Jolly ranchers and raspberry pie. Solid coffee notes, burnt espresso, and some strong soy. Mouth feel is thinner than expected with a soft carb. Subtle sweetness, big roast, lovely raspberry jam flavours. The two mingle well and neither take over the beer. Well balanced, a nice sipper.

bottle tasted 2024-feb-16. No idea when it was brewed or bottled bc cigar city did not care to write it on the bottle anywhere. aroma of raspberries, fainter old portugise port wine cellar in an ancient building, fruity sweet note like banana. vanilla. roasted malts wood, perhaps cedar wood. flavor is even better, mostly just roasted imperial stout greatness , but a faint fruity note from the raspberries can be sensed. the roasted malts are brutal yet smooth, velvety and well balanced to the rest. hints of smoked malts also. this is one really good tasting imp stout, the raspberries makes it more interesting but does not make it worse as I had feared. the balance between roasted malts and smoked malts is exceptionally good, the woody mellow notes are great too.

As you would expect, lighter on the raspberry than possible, perhaps, but largely a fruit beer. Quite sweet. Thank got only 10%

Bottle at Tide's. Dark brown with a faint head. Raspberry jam and chocolate mixing together. On the roastier side with some liquorice and astringent earthy notes. Good.
