Inspired by Strong Belgian Ales, it’s rather dark in color with ruby glares, it forms a firm frothy head and entices with its rich and complex aromas in which the warm and boozy notes are softened by the nutty ones. It’s round and sweet on the palate, with a big body, it has a long finish that leads to cocoa and roasty notes.

Hazy dark amber color; big head. The aroma is too yeasty in the beginning, then it shows some fruitness from the yeast. The body is quite weak, there is some malt flavor and mainly some caramel; the bitterness is normal, also coming from burnt sugars. I think that the yeast has worked too much in the bottle. At room temperature it improves, the body becomes thicker showing more malt, and a good quality hopping.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber with a gigantic, off-white head with excellent retention. Lightly tart nose with some caramel. Medium-bodied, very malty and fruity with accents of caramel and a rather rustic, artisanal touch - very much like some of the newer Danish microbrews. The alcohol is very well hidden, but the acidity really picks up in the finish. 050706

Bottle. Weak roasted aroma. Slightly cloudy brown colour, no head. Sweetish flavour, some malt and a bit of spices. Nice flavour, but a bit too sweet for me.

[Bottled at Københavnske Øldage] Cloudy dark amber. Aroma of viola and sweet raspberries. Too sweet with near full body. Dominated by candy, caramel and band-aid. More honey melon than bitterness in the finish.
