0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', 2019 edition (Falconer's Flight), best before February 2021. Almost clear, amber with a thin, frothy, almost stabel, white head. Sweetish, quite floral, fruity and a little resiny aroma of melon, orange, some mango and hints of pine. Quite sweet, malty, fruity-floral taste of orange, tangerine, some mango and traces of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really plesant beer with lovely hoppy aromas, not really what you would expect from a Bock and therefore even more appealing.

330ml Bottle - Golden/light amber with moderate carbonation and a small head. Grain, citrus and bubblegum in the aroma. Peach, apricot, grain, citrus and bubblegum in the taste. Quite interesting but I was hoping for a bit more.

0.33 l bottle from ’Het Biermoment’, best before February 2019. Clear, dark orangeish amber with a large, dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, moderately fruity and slightly floral aroma of caramel, honey, peach and some citrus. Quite sweet, malty, fruity, floral, moderately grassy and slightly resiny taste of caramel, honey, peach, grapefruit, lemon and a touch of pine, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, grassy and slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Fairly hoppy for a Bock, very pleasant mouthfeel, rather refreshing and not sticky-sweet like a classic example of the style. Pretty good!

Bottle (from hetbiermoment). Pours amber with beige-ish head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma is fruity, malty, sour, berries maybe. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, slight cardboard, dryness, grapefruit, some booze, malt, caramel. Finish is really harsh dry, grapefruit bitter. Overall: basically a really hoppy-bitter bock, a lot more bitter than high IBU beers usually, at the same time there are still some bockish notes. Somewhat unique (in a good way), so extra kudos for that.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Fruity hoppy nose. Medium bitter taste and dry finish. Normally I’m not a big fan of heller bocks but this one sure is tasty, with those added hops. Nice one.
