Coming probably from Heinrich 3000, Kornwestheim. Opening this bottle, yesterday, at Epalinges. Great imperial stout, almost the perfection, so smooth, great vanilla taste, cocoa, smooth roasty malt, so syrupy, normal bitterness, just great for your lips, 16.11.24

Bottle from Beergium. Brewed at De Proefbrouwerij, Belgium. Aroma is roasted malt, espresso, rich cocoa, dark chocolate, vanilla, mocha, with some notes of liquorice. Flavour is sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is full and rich. Another truly incredible Imperial Stout from Omnipollo, tons and tons of coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Amazing brew.

Black color with low beige head. Aroma: coffee, vanilla beans, chocolate mudcake, cocoa. Taste: sweetish, oily palate, vanilla, coffee, loads of dark chocolate. Full bodied, low carbonation, high bitterness. Delish, definition of winter dessert sipper.

Bottle from Struise Shop - might be 2yrs old. Cloudy pitch-black, stable, foamy, dark beige head. Powerful, luscious aroma of cold espresso, vanilla bean, cream liqueur, dried fig, date, plum, soy sauce, tobacco, molten fondant, macadamia, nougat, clove, beef jerky, fried mushroom. Taste has sweet candied fig, date & plum wrapped into a thick malty profile of milk chocolate, fondant, dark fudge & nougat. Light toasty maltiness in the middle, more pronounced bitter fondant and coffee bean, pairing well with an earthy-umami aspect of mushroom & soy, whilst creamy vanilla 'mollifies' that part somewhat. Earthy-peppery hoppy in the finish, very natural and strong coffee roast & bean mixing with tobacco, fondant and slight vanilla cream again, topped off by warming (Irish) whisky alcohol. Full body, syrupy-oily texture, soft carbonation. Ridiculously enticing and delicious, oh so heavy on the natural coffee yet offering sufficient 'creamy' malty aspects.

Backlog January 2019. Pitch black body under a nice, dense, brown head. Almost intense aroma of confectionery. Taste is sweet, malt, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Way too pastry for me, but damn god – my guilty pleasure.
