SNAB introduces S.P.A. in 2000. Our American Pale Ale (APA) was unique in Europe at the time. Inspired by the hoppy and aromatic beers of the American west coast, snab brews a complex beer, rich in aroma and taste, easy to drink and thirst-quenching. The yeast comes from Oregon, the cascade and Amarillo hops from the Yakima Valley in Washington. dry-hopping is used to further refine and emphasize the pronounced hop character.

Amber/orange with a white head. Aroma of malts, fruits, hops. Some malty sweetness in the flavour and a nice hoppy/spicy aftertaste. Very nice brew.

Bottle. Strong citrusaroma. Dark orange color, small frothy head. Hopbitter, citric flavor, almost oily in its bitterness. Rather thin beer with a long citric hopbitter finish. Lovely pale ale, more Belgian than British because of its tartness. Tap at ’t Arendsnest: flowery hops and grapefruit in the aroma. Thin. Firm hopbitter flavor with grapefruit and red berries."Cascade hops", says barman Robin. Long flowery and earthy hopbitter aftertaste with red berries. The rating is well deserved.
