DDH DARK BROWN ALE - A homage to our strange North East home, a New Town born from the red brick munitions factories in the War. A silky dark brown ale, with gentle fruit flavours of peach and soft fruit from the big kettle and dry hopping additions of Amarillo and Citra.

Cask at ORB 1st anniversary beer fest 2018, Darlington. Deep amber brown colour, thin beige foam head leaving some lacing and hoppy citrus aroma. Taste is malty, caramel, some toffee with lots of citrusy, pine hop resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable.
