19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke, Erwin & Ama Deke! Hazy yellow, lasting, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, apple peel, pear, lemongrass, yellow grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is light fruity sweet, 'classic' apple & pear, bready-yeasty character enveloping a medium hoppy bitter core of grapefruit, pine & grass, a bit spicy (touches of pepper & clove), even a bit wheaty-soapy. Dry, grassy hoppy finish, lingering wheat, spices, yellow fruit & yeast. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Bit too yeasty in the end, okay.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange pith and biscuit. Flavour of chalky malt and flat cloudy lemonade. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Very soft fizz - almost cask-like. A decent beer but I expected something juicier given the four hop varieties used.
