Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2018. Box @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Hazy straw-blonde with a juicy apple flavour. Has a strength to it, but it does not compromise its taste.

Bag in the box at the Abraham Darby, Brierly Hill. Pours lemon gold with no carbonation. Aroma is medium apple juice and nettles. Taste has medium apple juice throughout, some nettles and a dry apple finish. A bit watery.

Bag in box at the Standing Order. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Flat with no head. Nose - coking apple plus apple skin. Taste - apple is much sweeter this time almost stewed. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Dry but elegant finish. Overall - good stuff.

BIAB at the Standing Order. Pours murky orange with no head. Aromas of sharp sour apple. Taste is funky and dry. Dry finish.

Bag in a box at Thomas Ingoldsby JDW Canterbury . hazy green gold colour thin white bubbles. Some acidity. didn't get much spice. a little caramel sweetness in the middle. good apple fruit character. ok I thought. would have happily had the other half.

16/10/2018. Cask at the Stamford Post, Stamford. Pours pale yellow gold with minimal head. Aroma of light sweet apples, hint of caramel and spice. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Light body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ The Stamford Post (JDW), Stamford. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are apple juice, fruits, little acid and has a semi dry finish.

Box @ JDW Shrewsbury Hotel. Pours misty yellow, aroma has light orchard must. Taste presents a light acidity, soft bittersweet cider apple fruit, fairly light simplistic with distant tannins.

BIAB at William Stead JDW, Darlington. Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, afew bubbles on top and fruity apple & funk aroma. Taste is tangy apple, some apple skin, bittersweet, citric and with drying tannin. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite drinkable.
