11/10/2022. Can from Beer Cartel. ACT rating #5. Pours clear dark golden with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, tropical, floral, pine, light herb, caramel wafer, bready rubbery edge. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a slight spicy edge. Bitterness develops in finish. Medium body, oily, quite fizzy. Best of the 4 Capital beers tried tonight.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with small white head. Nice aroma of piney hops. Medium bodied, smooth with bright carbonation. Taste is a nice balance of biscuity malt and hop bitterness. There’s some subtle fruity notes in the mix too. Nice beer.

375mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, biscuity malt, and some herbal notes. Flavour is quite bright, with slick piney hops, some resins, and gentle stone fruitiness. Quite crisp and astringent in bitterness. Nice and quaffable IPA. Good stuff.

A relatively light bodied IPA with a fairly bitter hop profile dominating the more floral notes. An easy way to get 6.1% into you.

Sampled from the tap at The Taphouse. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and a growing citrus presence with a grain note underlying. Flavor has citrus and a bit of dank tropical fruits with light sweet grains backing.
