Made with a blend of bittersweet cider apples this is a very traditional unfiltered cider. Perfect for those that like a dry Somerset cider. Full-bodied and full of character.

Bag-in-a-box at the Rose & Crown, Wycombe. Orangey colour, still. More medium or medium-sweet than dry. Rather dull - just a vague baked apple taste with a touch of caramel. A little bit of tannic apple skin in the finish keeps it drinkable. But yeah, boring.

Box @ Lilley's taproom. Hazed gold appearance. Very thin watered down fruity aroma. Taste lacks a natural fruit character, feels very watered down with a drying finish. Pointless.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London, 27 May 2022) Hazy orange colour with no head. Fruity nose with apples, pears and grass. Fruity taste with notes of apples, pears, grass and a dry finish with a mild acidity. Fairly straightforward, but tasty and fresh. Nice one.

Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Gold colour lasting white head. Some apple pie aroma. Some dryness on the finish. Some tannins attacking the gums. Soft uncarbonated still. Ok.
