Draft @ ML Fontainas.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery a few weeks back. Love a Kernel catch up rate. A bright golden yellow coloured pour with a light loose white head. Aroma holds some leafy citrus, orange rind, , semi sweet soft bready grains, little whiff of alcohol. Flavour is composed of lightly rustic base grains, rustic bread, orange peel, bitter grapefruit, grassy hops. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, highish carboantion and a crisp finish. Aggressive back of the throat bitterness is a bit out of balance.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. 5.1%. Pale amber. Quite hazy. Kernel head. Nose has an earthy, blackcurrant, blackberry thing going on. Some ripe orange pulp. Notes of ripe stone fruit. Quite unusual, but really fresh and juicy. Taste is sweet, with plenty of that earthy blackcurrant. Turns light, citrusy bitter. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Juicy, but earthy at the same time, on the finish. I think I must like Nugget hops.
