Cask @ Royal Oak, Chesterfield. Deeper blonde with a creamy head. It’s a session ale, a hoppy one with a nice easy strength, but a slightly dirty nose.

On tap at Market Vaults, Stafford Not much in the nose at all. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Sweet and hoppy in the mouth, with strands of orange, strawberry, even onions ! Bitterness comes through in the finish. All in all, inoffensive. Also, too pale to be called an IPA in my opinion.

Cask at Travellers Rest, Cockerton. Pale amber gold colour, creamy white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, citrusy orange hop. Taste is malt caramel, biscuit with citrus, orangey hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK
