Borefts 2019 day 1. Hazy golden with no head. Sour grain, alvinne. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Sampled at Borefts 2019. Bit hazy darker golden with almost white head. Tequila, soft tart berries, peach, orange, soft malts, herbs too. Under medium sweet and sour, over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Not my thing.

You had me at "Imperial gose". Lovely example of one, nice sourness, but very sweet, lightly salted and the tequila is nice and subtle, adds some herbal notes. Pretty woody. Really lovely thickness, a citrussy sour, boozy monster.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange brown, fast disapperring off-white head. Aroma: Tart, fruity, light salty. Taste: Moderate to medium tart, moderate sweet and light bitter and salty. Fruity and bit floral notes, best described as a mix of some stone-fruit and plum, mandarin, some orange and lemon peel and a taste that I don't know exactly but I presume it's Tequila or Agave. (Never tasted this). Boozy notes. Just under medium body, below average carbonation. Somewhat more salty and boozy at the finish. Interesting drink, like more beers from La Calavera, but not one of my favourites of this brewery.

Hazy and slightly dirty looking gold beer, a few cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry, good carbonated nip, seems light for the abv. Quite tart, made me blink, but never acid. Nicely savoury salty goes well with tart lime peel and some dank tequila. Light savoury limey finish. First couple of sips I thought this was going to be a shocker but it won be round rapidly and completely and I am now its biiatch! 😳
