From tap at Borefts 2019. Aroma is firm roast and coffee with mocha, chocolate, more roasty coffee. Moderate sweet flavour with a proper roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Nice blast of the daily grind.

Cloudy dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, berry, sour, tart, blackcurrant. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart, dark malt, wood, coffee, strong coffee, roasted, wood, berries, blackcurrant. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Dark brown to black color, beige to light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, light tart notes, wood, woody dry notes. Decent body, average carbonation. Mwah.

Tap at Borefts, 2019. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a bubbly round tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, with a roasty, peaty, coffee, red berry fruit palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Borefts 2019 - Black colour. Aroma and flavour have dark malts and coffee. A little fruitiness and a sharpness too.

Opaque black, espresso head. Moderate earthy/cheesy coffee, acrid roast (hopefully not an infection), balanced dark malts. Similar taste - weakish malt character is augmented by earthy coffee, coffe grounds, light cheesy hops. Light bitterness. Just a little bit tart - but could well be a sign of infection. Disappointing.
