Bottle sample @ ACBF 2015. Dorée, léger col blanc. Arôme donne de suite le ton, c’est bien du DLS. Le bouquet est houblonné et encore une fois, on tire vers le sempiternel même type de houblons qui apportent peu en terme de complexité. Palais met un accent plus prononcé sur les houblons, avec une pointe d’agrumes. Le tout garde un côté noble avec un possible soupçon d’ajout US à la Cascade voire Centennial. Niveau levure, bin, c’est bien DLS. Correcte, mais on commence à faire le tour du même profil.

Huge yellowish head over unclear ochre-orange beer. Fresh C-hops, peach, passion fruit, washing powder. Dry, spicy, yeasty features, climbing over the hop. Wry, bitter dry aftertaste. Medium bodied. Alcohol remains very hidden. Too much of the wrong hops.

Clear blond to beige beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, some pineapple, sweet banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, pretty hoppy, bitter, fruity notes, very nice, bit grassy. Aftertaste: alcohol, hoppy, citrus, some yeast, sweet malts, alcohol, hoppy.
