Cask at The Crown, Eastbourne. Literally like drinking liquid toffee. Aroma was just soo much like it. Sure it's very sweet but you knew that. It's great!

Litt ensformig men allikevel kjempegod.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Swadford Tap, Shipton, afternoon of Friday 17th January 2025. Black viscous body, tan topping. Cinder Toffee like nose and taste, enjoyed it, my sweet tooth loved it!

Keg at Taps@BCF, 27/12/24. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head ... full glass lacing ensues ... Good looker. Nose is toffee, toasted brown sugars, dark malts, light spice. Taste comprises toffee, roasted notes, dark malts, cocoa sprinkle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough stout.

440ml can at home. Black with a moderate off white head. Sweet chocolate and caramel aroma, flavour is remarkably like drinking a Crunchie bar. Delightful

Black beer, big toffee aroma and a bubbly off-white head. Flavour has some lightly chocolate-y malt, toasty honeycomb, a little biscuit and some light hop for bitterness. Decent body and super sessionable.

Cask at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe. Aroma is full-on toffee. Dark. Glossy. Foamy beige head. Watery. Light toffee and coffee bitterness. A tad creamy. Average carbonation. Disappointing.

1/2 pint cask @ Craft Beer Co., St Mary Axe.

Gravity cask at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 28th April 2023. Rated as a novelty ale. Solid, impenetrably black with tan film and spot lacing. Aniseed liquorice aroma. Aniseed, spices and cherry fruits in-mouth, and a finish of sweetened liquorice. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a medium body.
