33cl bottle. A dark orange brown beer with a mid sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark caramelized malt, nuts, bread. Taste of dark caramelized malt, nuts, bread, raisins, moderate bitter hops.

19/06/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from a trade with jerre. Brown colour with light tanned head. Nose is dark malts, bit caramel. Taste is dark malts, some chocolate, bit caramel, hopbitterness in the end.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en ietwat zoet met iets van chokolade en karamel. Best lekker maar mist iets om echt interessant te worden.

(Draught at Café Gollem, Amsterdam, 30 July 2017) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with bread, dark fruit and caramel. Malty taste with notes of caramel, chocolate, dried fruit, raisins and a sweetish finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, and quite fruity, brown ale. Nice one.

Mahogany colour, minimal creamy beige head; aroma of toffee, fruity notes and some floral notes; taste of dried apricot, caramel, toasted rye bread and pear; not bad

From tap. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare. Brown and creamy head. Aroma is roasted malty. Toffee and slight breadish. Dry and roasted malty far finish.

Tap at Irreale. Black, creamy golden lace head. Dusty muggy nose, roast coffee, flowery hops. Chewy grainy base, licorice, nutty. Did not enjoy the moppiness, otherwise fine.

On tap @ Brewery. Crear brown color, light beige head with medium retention and good lacing. Aroma has light toasted notes with some dry fruits. Flavor is toasty, light sweet with some notes of burnt caramel. Light sweetness on palate.
