Pours thick, black, unfiltered liquid. Average sized head which disappears in two minutes. Strong malty aroma, with vanilla, licorice, little of coffee and smoke. Medium to strong body, medium to low carbonation. Alcohol well masked. Taste is smoother than the usual in Imperal Stouts; strong licorice, plum, coffee; well balanced. Taste is mostly sweet and spicy.

33cl bottle shared at the July THT. Thin off white head. Clear deep amber pour. Very thin for an imperial stout. Ok.

Bottle shared at Dean’s Technicoloured Dream-Shorts Tasting. Pours dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of light fruity and weedy hops, light malt and a touch of carbonation. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. Certainly not an imperial stout..

Marrón muy oscura. casi opaca. Mucho poso. Alta efervescencia al servir. Bonita espuma ocre.

0.33l bottle from lot #1348.my bottle says 7.5% abv. Anyhow, it's a deep and dark brown one this. A small kinda islandy brown head is safely placed on the top. Nose vise this is lots of nice sweet dark chocolate blended with roasted malts and some salty soy tones. I'll gladly admit that this smells pretty darn nice. Tastes nice also. It's really sweet. Not directly lactose sweet but milk chocolate sweet in a way. A light oily feeling in the mouth and it's just below average on the bubbles. Dark roasted malty flavors, tones of cocoa, butter cocoa and you can even sense the alcohol. This is actually not a bad one at all. 05.08.2014

Bottle. Metallic light orange peel chocolate aroma. cloudy brown, low head. Medium to light body, emphasis on orange peel, pine and earthy hop notes, a bit coffee in the back of the throat citrus oil aftertaste. A bit on the thin side, but plenty of flavour.

33cl bottle. Poured a black beer with frothy and creamy off-white head, good lacing and average lacework. Aroma is roasty, toasty, with licorice hints. Flavour is smooth, licorice, toasty malts and dense on palate, with a dark coffee aftertaste of an average duration. Carbonation is flat. Texture is creamy. Body is medium to high.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - LOT 1160 - No Ampolla 0865, at One Pint Pub, 20111111) The beer poured almost black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had roasted malts, liquorice and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, liquorice, saltiness, hops, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty, ashy and bitter. I liked this beer. It was quite balanced, had no serious flaws and tasted ok.
