7.1
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Shared from bottle at Maakun’s. Hazy golden with white head. Sour apples, lemon cake, soft peachy sweetness, some green grass, light herbal hops. Over medium sour, moderate bitter, mild sweet. Medium body and soft carbonation. Complexity is nice, crunchy sugar crystals in the sour base. It’s highly unusual for a French cider but quite nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop on 25 Sep 2019 at 14:21 - Score:

Bottle shared. Light hazy golden with soft bubbles. Sweet and tart apple, light pear, earthy, light woody too, light grassy and citrus hops with lime and lemon balm too. Green pear skins. Almost medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Medium bodied with sparkly carbonation and medium dry finish with soft puckering sour aftertaste. Nice, but a bit weirdly sour.
