American style pale ale, dark gold in colour with a delicate white head. Citrus and floral aromas lead into hop flavours characterised by grapefruit and mandarin produced by American hops. A dry bitter finish makes this an eminently enjoyable and refreshing beer.

Cask at Hilden Fest 2012 - 25/08/12. Slightly hazed copper orange in colour - not a pale ale in my book! Sweet malt nose leaning towards caramel. Tastes a little of ripe tangy fruit with a bitter sweet finish, medium body with a commensurate level of carbonation.

Half a pint from tap at the Porterhouse in Dublin. Clear golden with a (small) white head. Spicy aroma (cardamom?) with hops, some fruit and notes of metal. A bit metallic taste with some bitterness, not so pleasant, a bit strange. Hints of citrus in the flavour. Lightly bitter finish with hints of spices. Ok beer, but nothing special. (2011-06-11)

Draught at Bull & Castle, Dublin. Clear golden, creamy head. Rich grapefruity hop aroma. Mid dry with clean rounded mouthfeel. Well hopped and light bodied with balanced bitterness. An elegant, really enjoyable thirst quencher.
