Het laagje bourbon is er wel lekker bij. Niet super verfijnd. Gewoon goed.

Malt thanks to Bierkoning for this in the RB Euro Swap 2019/3 Light brown collar on s rich dark brown still body. Sweet coffee aroma. Medium bodied, slight tingles on the front & a pith back & clean on the back. Sweet coffee, malt, bourbon, roasted, plum & caramel tastes with a tangy citrus finish.

Borefts XI. Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate with decent fine carbonation. Smooth and soft dark malts, creamy. A little spicy licorice. Mellow dark fruits and modest spice. More dark fruits, this time with a bourbon twist. Smooth spicy bourbon finish. Smooth and light for the style and very drinkable.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of mocha, chocolate and licorice. Taste has chocolate, mocha, malt, licorice and a little bourbon. Infusing is a lot more boring compared to barrel aging.

27/IX/19 - on tap, wrote down Mout Mocca BBA, but I might have been wrong... @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a - (2019-1561) Thanks to the international RateBeer Crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear red brown beer, no head. Aroma: coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, nice stuff going on. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, sweet, caramel touch, bit malty, bitter, pretty roasted. Aftertaste: malty, alcohol, bit sweet, more alcohol, roasted, lots of coffee, more roasted flavours. Not bad at all...

28/9/19: Not sure why bourbon infused and not just BBA. The cheap way out, to avoid infection? I like M&M, and this seems a bit weaker. Coffee, thick and smooth, and a splash of bourbon thrown in. Nice and tasty, misses complexity.

14/2/20: Bottled 30-11-2018. Well this didn't bottle well. Mostly just overroasted coffee and cheap bourbon. Boozy. Pretty bitter, roasty. Little bit thin. Not terrible, but definitely not great either. Needs body, creamyness and something sweet.
