Our Gigantic IPA aged in Ransom Old Tom Gin barrels for 3 months. Botanicals from the gin meld perfectly with citrusy hops and subtle wood in an incredibly complex beer.

I still don't get the thing behind barrel ageing IPA's, but if you have to do it I guess gin would be a good barrel. Problem is, I don't like gin. Really herbal, lots of gin going on, some wood, juniper. Not bad, but not for me.

Tap at the brewery. Wow, gin is subtle and adds a bit of lemon and some booziness, tastes great too. Only hint of gin, citrus, bitterness. On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Shared with Marko and hrabren. Unclear golden coloured, small white head, citrus and gin in the nose. Noticable gin, tea like herbal notes, slightly citrusy and mild spicy finish. Surprisingly good.

Tap at Fakin. Misty, full golden body, white head. Big, pleasant aroma, smooth citric and lightly gin-like notes, with a touch of maltiness. Taste... hmmm... tea, gin, citrus, ice tea, smooth, some alcohol, pleasant and quite tasty. Liking this one!

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly to moderately hoppy, ginger, spice, citrus, malts. Ginger candy! Tart. Light bitterness. Medium body. On the edge of astringency. Light dry finish. Herbal and leaves. Drinkable. Alcohol well hidden.
