A Grisette is light saison-style beer, with a low abv, a rustic character and endlessly drinkable. We made ours with local unmalted spelt by de millers of De Valk and dry-hopped it with citrusy Lemondrop hops. it is the perfect partner for the first rays of the sun in early spring.

330ml can. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy malty and yeasty spicy, minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of wheat, spelt, brine, a touch of mustard seed. Taste is grainy malty with low residual sweetness, slighty yeasty spicy, minimally herbal-spicy and grassy hoppy, hints of wheat, spelt, some dill, a touch of brine.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Relatively meaty, fairly refreshing - very nice.

Can, 4.0%. Faint lemony aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is watery with a mild lemon and coriander note. Thin mouthfeel. Seems a bit boring to begin with, but turns out all right after a few more sips.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 8 May 2022) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, herbal nose with notes of grass, hay, bread, yeast and clove. Fruity, spicy taste with citrus, bread, grass, hay, clove and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, herbal and well made grisette. Nice one.

Decent light beer. Still a little too hopped up bitterness for the style without enough funky phenols. Okay overall. De kromme utrecht

Good lord, I forgot to check this in from last week. What's getting into me these days? Besides beer. It was good but noticeably light.

@home poured into a tumbler. Hazy medium to deep golden colour, small stable moussy white head, good lacing. Fruity aroma, sweet malt, lemon, grain, yeast, muscat grapes. Taste light to medium sweet and bitter, some light acidity, malty, grain, light citrus. Light body, watery texture, prickly carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, chalky notes, refreshing with an IPA-like dryness, very nice.
