355ml can. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly weak, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, mango, slightly sugary, malty background. Taste is bitter, citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, sweet, sugary, caramel malty backbone, notes of lemon, hints of passion fruit, candied orange zest, liquorice overtones.

Can 355ml (canned 04/09/19, Beer Rep)
Slight hazy amber colour, medium-sized off-white head. Piney, a bit alcoholic, hop oily aroma. Medium-bodied. Piney, citrusy, a bit danky, some alcohol. When fresh, probably really good.

On tap at Smartmouth, pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has candle, orange zest, honey, some perfume. FLavor is sweet with malt and candy, orange... not much else. Finishes hot and boozy. A total mess.

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall head that fades fairly fast. Aroma of resin, tropical fruits, pine, light earth, citrus and way more sticky resin - very nice. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive resinous and sweet sticky flavours at first with some subdued pine, a touch of grain, light earth and a nice mellow citrus flavour near the end. Aftertaste shows some grass, hay, resin, tropical fruits, earth and a faint amount of alcohol, but this is all about the resin, a touch of pine and tropical fruits - very unaware of the high alcohol content or the fact that it’s an Imperial IPA - this is nice and very easy to drink for the style! Overall, a nice beer that shows well and has some great resinous, piney and tropical fruit based hop notes throughout. I sampled this on draught in a thirty two ounce growler fill a few hours ago on 19-November-2016 for US$5,00 at Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia sampled at home in Washington just a few hours later for another great deal on tap!

Can from Wine Warehouse, $2.30. Pours orangy with no head, white gunk floating in there. Heft hop aroma. Grapefruit, green hops in the taste. Strong as hell too. Thankfully not syrupy.

Draft at the DC Beer Festival in Nationals Stadium. Poured a nice clear dark orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was nice grapefruit, lemon zest, pine resin. Flavor was similar, nice grapefruits, sweet malts, light lemon zest. Juicy. Pretty tasty.

Tap. Pours hazy pale amber, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is light pine, spruce. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, spruce and done citrus, a bit of caramel. Not harsh. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Solid.
