Fairly typical ET stout, even if they're not main in this case. Sweet, lots of chocolate. Cinnamon, coconut and some other assorted nuttyness. Thick and diabetic, just as I like it. Pretty tasty, but not exceptional.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Cloudy black with a lasting, very small, foamy, dark beige head. Intense aroma of marshmallow, chocolate sauce, straciatella ice cream, candied date, vanilla, biscuit, molasses, rum-soaked raisin. Taste is heavy malty sweet, thick chocolate & molasses wrapped in a biscuity & creamy character, offering soft cinnamon & coconut, a bit fruity underneath, nuts & coffee becoming more apparent too, having a slightly powdery effect. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, a tad peppery, lots of biscuit & chocolate still initiating a warming, chocolate jenever-like alcohol effect. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rich & decadent, mostly lots of sugars, biscuit & chocolate.

No head, jet-black beer. Stout, roast with gingerbread spices, I Lierse Vlaaikens /I, cloth. More of the same with an added chili flavour. Chocolate with raspberry/chili/cinnamon ganache. Hot... very well, bodied, alcoholheat. Heavy-handed, yet is more than drinkable.

Can. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, alcohol, and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.
