Please welcome back our bloody creature of the black ipa kingdom. After many requests to brew it again here is Black Blood 2.
We dissected and dismembered the first black blood and stitched it together into new creation that have more hops, less alcohol and more blood to it.
Its appearance is bloody red when pouring, but in glass a pitch black beer. In nose and on tongue you will get aromas and taste of the finest possible gentle roasted coffee, fruity red berries and citrus. Deep dark red colour and the taste of berries comes from addition of amazing organic red beet juice.
This is a true treat for the metal heads hungover bodies.

330 ml can from Uba ja Humal. Pours interesting dark ruby red, with foamy pink head. Yep, really looking like blood, matches well with the conceptg. Nose has some roast, juicy and some grassy hops. Taste has stronger ash roast, good level of bitterness and some fruity edge coming out in the finish. Quite decent BIPA.

18/VIII/19 - 33cl can @ Gents Bierfestival, BB: n/a - (2019-1275)
Clear dark brown beer, small creamy pinkish brown head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: dank, very hoppy, beetroot I think? Earthy, lots of dank hops, very nice. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit fruity, hoppy, bitter, earthy. Aftertaste: soft roast, bitter hops, more roasted malts, bitter, grains, some beetroot.

Dark pink head, receding with lace over black beer, deep-red whilst pouring. Fruity nose, dark cherries, faint notes of sour milk, yoghurt. Dry, stoutish - perpendicular on the nose. Dry hopsacks; cherries in the very finish. Feels pretty well-bodied. Very slick. Blood might be a poetic exaggeration, but all the same, you're not just drinking. Weird to say the least. But not bad... As to black IPA, I'd never guessed.
