Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark caramel malt with toffee, light toast and notes of red 'n dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is thin to medium. Unremarkable but drinkable Irish Ale.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is wood, toffee, some resin and mild earthy tones. Flvour is resin, wood, some toffee and mild biscuity tones. Mild dry wooden tones in the finish too.

Can thanks to AshtonMcCobb. Pours pretty dark for the style, thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate cake and red fruity. Taste is burnt nuts, more red fruit, maybe jam. Quite sweet at the end.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown with amber chinks. Creamy tan head. Nose - toffee and cakey with hints of redcurrant and strawberry. Taste - chewy, spice cake and toffee. Red and orange fruit. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and with a spicy edge. Decent linger. Overall - great example of how the style can work.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear deep ruby, small head. Aroma of blueberries and ashy chocolate. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Burnt toast, blueberries and notes of licorice. Mid bitter finishh.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, dark malt, caramel, red malt, dried fruit, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, dried fruit, toasted, light dark malt, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211003]
